Best remote

Roomie Is broken with ios 7, roomie developers dont want to listen to us, saying it is only broken in UK... Blank remotes, blank activities, very annoying for a remote app. Im French by the way...

Need always some external hardware to work, at least with my devices was a lost o money this app.

I have tested all in apple store. More complete in functional. home theater pack is necessary and complete.

I was expecting an app that would allow me to control all my devices and it doesnt. It only allows 2 devices and then you have to upgrade paying $15 more. The remote for the onkyo receiver is laughable and it doesnt turn the samsung tv on even on stand by. They really should work on the app if they want to charge so much for it.

Love it. Using it to control all my home theater equipment. Roomie + two iTach Flex IP + two tri cable adapters handle everything easely. Highly recommended.

The program is great I use it everyday to control my devices TV and other controls are not used anymore The only downside I am still waiting for TV program support for Brazil this was announced 2 years ago and then postponed postponed would be great to see this soon Still no TV guide for Brazil !n

the version sold is limited to two (!!!) devices, e.g. receiver and tv. without 3rd device eg blueray it is useless. respective in app purchase cost twice the original price

Since the Last update it dont works.

First of all, you should know, that every descibed feature cost money. I wanted to use my iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch together to control e.g. my TV. Finally, i need the Roomie-App with additional service app. And i have to use a, legt me say Roomie cloud to copy the information from One device to the other. I would not recommend to use that app.

Easy and,powerful

A great system. Much cheaper than dedicated high end customized remotes. Its not hard to set up just be sure to read all the information on the site before you set the system up. I had no problems and it has worked to my expectations. I would do it again.

You would not be able to set up even one home theatre with this app, max two devices. If you have an infrared controlled device, you will need to spend another $120, plus $20 to be able to control more that 2 devices.

The user interface is well done ; very convenient. It is possible to add url command to start and stop activities, but it is impossible for button. With url command for button, It would be possible to control several unsupported IP devices.

this does not even do the basic unless you want to spend, spend should have listened to the reviews. do not buy unless you are willing to spend more

I had the Logitech link for a full year waiting for them to upgrade it to include macros, they never did. I was skeptical that a smaller company could make such a refined product but the Roomie really is great. Finally I can automate the lights, stereo, projection screen with one simple button. Im hooked!

Works great! Needs more Oppo support as well as computer integration. A track pad/keyboard and VLC controls would be much appreciated. Would make this product stand heads above Logitech solutions.

Roomie is the first programmable remote that works. Makes Logitech gear look like toys. You will need the full app to do what you want and the pricing is well indicated and worth every penny.
